Altered Bottles

My friend Laurie and I started to do craft's on Monday night's. So we started with altered bottles. This was my first one I did. I covered it in lace added pearls and a brooch. The lace I used was antique.

Another one I made. Also with lace and gold pearls. And put a pin on the top of the lid.

Covered a white milk bottle in lace. Then embellished it with buttons, pearls, a key and a victorian picture.

I took a lavender bottle and added some lace a button and a fancy button on the lid.

This is my favorite one. I bought the perfume bottle at a antique market and covered it in antique lace. Added pink flowers a key and some crystals around the top. I am not going to sell this one.

I made this one out of a empty candle jar. You can put a tea light in it, and it looks really nice burning.

This is another one of my favorite's. The bottle is a teal blue. So I embellished it in those colors.

This Christmas, I saw these in a book and thought why not make some. Not alot on them. Some lace and pins from yard sales. Then I just put some greens in the top. Very simple but nice.

Vintage

My Son got me this for Christmas. I have wanted one for a long time. I was so surprised.

I got these old scales at a yard sale for 5$'s. I have so much lace, that I put some on the top of the scales. I have them sitting in my bedroom.

I think I posted this before so I won't say much about it.

I got this mail box at the same yard sale that I got the scales and the popcorn popper. That was a good yard sale.

I love this Mother Goose Shoe box, and I had to have it. I have a pair of my daughter's baby shoes sitting on top of it. I have them sitting on my dad's old ladder with a fern on the top. And of course with lace.

Gingerbread Men

I got these for Christmas. Aren't they cute.

Sweet Teddies

The following pictures are of some of  my bears and the story behind  them. This bear is dressed in my late father's dress that he wore as a baby. I also have the picture of him in this dress.

These bears are each wearing one of my baby dresses.

This bear is wearing my daughter"s dress when she was little. As you can see I like to dress my bear's.

This little sweet bear I got at a yard sale. She's so cute.

These little bear's are in the Christman spirit.

My girlfriend in Florida gave me this bear when I was down to visit her. She knows I love bear's, and she wanted me to have it.

This is another bear she gave me. She wanted me to have them in case something happened to her. I thought that was very nice of her. She knows I love bear's.

This is a Christmas bear I got at a  antique mall. She is not old, but I really liked it when I saw it. It comes out  for Christmas.

Well this is not a bear, but he is the love of my life. And he likes his picture taken. This is Sammy. I love him to pieces. He is always there for me.

I just got this bear at a thrift shop. He was just sitting on the shelf, and he wanted to go home  with me, so I bought him. I'm going to change his bow, and maybe dress him up a little. So that is some of my bear's, I have many more, I will post at a latter date. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Repurposed

I bought this little chest at a yard sale for 3$'s. This is the before picture.

This is the after picture. I painted it in a green paint, and papered it in a french script. I also distressed it. I also embellished the top, I should have a close up of it.

I do not have a before picture of this, it was brown, and I bought it at a yard sale for 2$'s. I thought I can do something with that, and I did. I painted it a celery green and distressed it. I papered it with a victorian paper of roses. Very pretty.

Vintage Christmas

This is on my dresser in the bedroom. Sorry the picture is not so bright. A birdcage with a flower, greens, balls and a bird. And a lantern on one side and the vintage tree on the other side.

I got this lace stocking at a yard sale and the star. The star was rusty so I painted it pink and put some glitter on it. I have added more things to this stocking, since I took this picture.

As you can see I have another trellis in my bedroom. It has lights and garland around it. I have also added more to it . On the ladder is a lantern and some of my bears. The ladder was my Father's. I always did my bedroom in bears, but I put up a victorian boarder and some of them are country.

Bought this 2 tier stand at a yard sale this year. Have some bears in them and greens and balls. And of course more lace.

This is another one of the shelf's that my boss was going to throw out, so I got it. She's not too smart when it comes to stuff like this. This is the end of my decorating for this year. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Santa Clause/Christmas

These pictures are all of my Santa's in my bathroom. So we will start with the shelf that I got at A yard sale for .35 cents. I have my watering can on it that I repurposed, with greens and a vintage flower in it and some vintage garland. Beside it is a white Santa. I like white Santa's. Not big on red.

I redid this shelf years ago and have it in my bathroom. It is now decorated with Santa's. But the top is with my Elvis ornaments. Can't forget Elvis.

I even decorate the top of my shower rod.

I always have my birdhouse on this wicker stand, but for Christmas I decorate it with garland, balls and Santa's. Underneath is a vintage tree and a Santa with a music box.

This Santa a friend gave me, he is a wine bottle cover. And the wine she gave me is under him. It is called "Old Fart" I wonder what it taste like. I'll try it one of these days.

Santa Clause/Christmas

I bought this cabinet at a yard sale to redo and didn't get it done yet, so I thought I would use it for some of my Santas.  It didn't turn out to bad. These pictures are of my front room. Maybe tomorrow night I will get the Santas in the bathroom posted.

The shelf in this picture, my boss was going to throw out at work. Can you believe it? So I ask for it, and she said I could have it. Just love it.

This is an old wooden chicken feeder I bought at a flea market. I have it hanging on my wall, and decorate it with greens and a santa.

A cardboard santa that I bought at a antique auction. He was in a box lot, I paid 1$ for. So he hang's on my closet door.
