Christmas decorating in my home

This is a little scene under my dry sink, with the skates hanging on the door.

A vintage tree with the snowlady I made.

The snowmen on the sleigh is under my wicker table. I know they are not shabby, but I like them.

Everything, almost, is from my dad's christmas yard, when he was a little boy. This is priceless to me.

These snowpeople are under the cobbler's bench that my dad made. They are also not shabby, but I like them.

This is in my small bathroom. I decorated the birdhouse with greens and added a vintage tree.

Also in the bathroom. A birdcage and Santa.

On top of the dry sink, I have this vignette. I do wish my snowmen were trimmed in pink, but they are not. The candle in the lantern lights and so does the pink (not sure what it is called), but it is beautiful.

Christmas decorating in my home

This is my snowman tree in the living room.

The pictures are in my kitchen. I decorate with all gingerbread men. The green box they are in I repurposed. It was brown.

I bought this little chest at a antique auction.

Another thing I repurposed, and I decorate it with more gingerbread men and greens.

This is my enamel biggin coffee pot.

I bought this old sieve at a yard sale, and fill it with greens, orange slices and apple slices, a cinnamon stick gingerbread men and a candle.

This is the inside of my chicken crate. It has lights, a tree and two gingerbread people.

Some of my Santas. The picture I made.

Love him, I bought him after Christmas last year. It is a candy holder.

Other santas. The small red one is also a candy dish.

Primitive shelf with primitives.

I just got this lantern this year. The candle in it lights.

A shabby chic vignette in my bedroom,

Another shabby vignette in my bedroom.

And of course my baby, Sammy, I can't forget him. He is the love of my life. These are some of my decorating pictures, hope you enjoyed them. Till next time.

Craft Show

This is one view of my table at the craft show today.

Another picture of my table.

And yet another view of my table.

This is my friend Laurie's.

My friend Rufina's table.

Some of Rufina's snowmen, out of yarn.

Another friend, Carrie and Judi's table. They have such cute ornaments.

One of Judi's snowmen. They are so darn cute. It is very hard to try to sell our crafts in Lancaster county, because it is a very primitive and country county. I don't think shabby chic has a place here yet. But I didn't do to bad. And the people seemed to like it, so not sure what to think.

Christmas decorating pictures of my home

This is a close up of one of the snowmen on my tree. I used all shabby snowmen on the tree this year. Because I wanted to use the script ribbon, which I never use ribbon on my tree, but I loved this ribbon.

This is another picture of the tree with snowmen and ice skates.

My alpine tree in the corner, is also shabby this year. Lots of pink and lace.

A close up of some of the things that are on the tree.

This is my antique birdcage decorated. There is a white bird on top and one in the cage.

This is another birdcage decorated.

This is a beautiful velvet poinsettia, that I used for my tie backs on my curtains. I bought some of these at the end of last year, when they went on sale. I just thought they were beautiful. They are a deep mauve color with some gold.

Another close up of my tree with the snowmen. The mittens were my daughters when she was little.

Shabby chic watering can

I bought this watering can at the thrift store, I painted it pink and antiqued it. Then I started to decorate it. I added the vintage looking silver pick and a pink rose with glitter on it. I added a bird and some feathers, balls, and ice skates and of course a lace doily. And there is the finished product.

Tussie Mussic/Victorian cones

This cone is with music and it has a rose in it which I glittered.

A close up of the top.

I really like this one, it is made of mohair and it has a tree in and a ball and a picture of Santa. I like the burlap around the top with the rhinestones. And I love the colors of it.

This is a close up of the top, sorry it is a little blurry.

This is my Paris cone. I had a time with this one and then all of a sudden it came together.

Close up of the top. I do like how it finally turned out.

Snowman craft

This is my newest snowman. He has a fur scarf around his neck and some fur around his hat. He is made out of yarn balls.
