My Gardens continued

This is a little garden vignette beside my shed.

We  eat out here sometimes, and we sit out here at night. It is a nice spot.

Another garden vignette. The blue stand I got from my neighbor's trash. It was maple colored, and I painted it this color, and planted flowers in it. The white chair my friend gave to me. The flower pot is planted with mint.

I have double impatiens planted in my chicken nesting box, with a chicken birdhouse sitting on it.

I bought this ladder at a yard sale for 10cents, yes you heard right. It was white and I painted it this pretty blue. Is it cute or what?

I got this wagon at a yard sale for 2$. I have it planted with all different kinds of  coleus. And they did great this year.

I also have coleus planted in my chicken feeder, that I bought at the mud sale for 2$. They also did very good in this. I can't take all the credit, I use Miracle Grow on everything. Just ask my friend Laurie.

My Gardens

This is a Buttered Popcorn Plant, and it smells just like that.

This is one of my flower beds.

I just love Queen Ann's Lace. It is a nice cutting flower.

This is the most beautiful Passionflower.I have had over 70 flowers and it is loaded with buds.

This is my Sweet Autumn Clematis from last year. And it smells so good.

The Scotch Broom was beautiful this year.

I just loved this double black Poppy. Just beautiful.

I don't know the name of this Poppy, but it is a beautiful shade of orange. Very unusual.

Vintage Green Kitchen Collection

This is some of my vintage collection.

I collect anything with green. I just love it.

These are my grandmothers old cookie cutters. To me they are priceless.

I just got this stuff this year. Some of it I got at yard sales. I also collect doily's, as you will see in my pictures.

I got both of these at a antique market. I know the planter is a little rusty, but I didn't care. I wanted it.

The item on the right is a cheese slicer, good condition. On the left is a spice grinder. And in the front is a pastry cutter. Great finds.

Most of this, my son bought me for Christmas. I love it all. The enamelware is in great condition.

I bought this at a yard sale for 1$. It was all rusty, so I put oven cleaner on, and left it sit awhile and then I washed it in soap and water, and the rust was all removed. I didn't know if it would work on it or not, but I had nothing to lose. So now I know what to do.

Victorian Cones/Tussie Mussie

This is one of my cones I did with natural batting, then covered with lace and pearls and did embellishments.

This was the first cone I did. That's a picture of my Dad, when he was a baby.

In this cone I added a bird and a pocket watch.

This one is my music cone. I covered it in old music sheets. I got the horn at a yard sale . And I covered the spool in music sheet, also.

My Halloween cone. The pumpkins in the top I grew. The plant was called Pumpkin on a stick. They are from last year. And I dried them. I put glitter on them.

Before & After Yard Sale Finds

I bought this desk at a yard sale for $10. It did come with a glass top, but I took it off, so it wouldn't break. I saw on Pinterest, people using old desks for kitchen islands. I thought this would make a great kitchen island.

This is my after picture. I painted it white and distressed it a little. It makes the perfect kitchen island for a small space. 

This spice cabinet I found at a yard sale for $2!. I thought it would need a little face lift.

This is my after. I painted it white and distressed, also changed the knobs and added a little embellishment on the top. 

This home made watering can cost me 50cents at a yard sale. I knew I could make this challenged piece look like new.

This is my after. A little paint and antiquing made this watering can fit right into my decor.

This poor orphan cost me 15cents. I think he used to be painted to look like a watermelon.

This is my after. I painted and antiqued this little gem and modge podged a robins picture along with a doily and feathers. 

As you can see, I am not a big spender as the total cost of these three items were $12.65 for the four items.

Not too bad for a days work.
