Altered can/ tussie mussie

This is a can I altered in the Paris theme. I added script paper and printed the picture of the Eiffel Tower off of the computer. I added different laces and pearls and flowers.

This is the back of the can.

I made the tussie mussie to match the can. I added a few other embellishments to it.

French Graphics

I got  this stool at a yard sale, and wanted to put the french decals on it. So in the next picture you will see, what I did.

I did what the one person does, she puts mod podge on the decal and  puts it on the surface, lets it sit over night, then she wets it and rolls it off, but I am having a hard time with that. I must be doing something wrong. I tried it on an old enamel tray, and it didn't work at all. It came right off. I guess I will have to keep trying. But this is what I have for now.

Altered Things

My bottle that I altered in the Paris theme. Material from Hobby Lobby and the top on the bottle. The lace is from a yard sale, I also added a key and some cheese cloth.

This is from the back of the bottle.

A woman I use to work with gave me this bear, a friend of hers made it for her. She knew I liked bears, and she was going to give it away and ask me if I wanted it. It was just a plain bear, so I added lace and buttons. flowers and a key to her, now she fits right in.

Christmas decorating in my home

This is a little scene under my dry sink, with the skates hanging on the door.

A vintage tree with the snowlady I made.

The snowmen on the sleigh is under my wicker table. I know they are not shabby, but I like them.

Everything, almost, is from my dad's christmas yard, when he was a little boy. This is priceless to me.

These snowpeople are under the cobbler's bench that my dad made. They are also not shabby, but I like them.

This is in my small bathroom. I decorated the birdhouse with greens and added a vintage tree.

Also in the bathroom. A birdcage and Santa.

On top of the dry sink, I have this vignette. I do wish my snowmen were trimmed in pink, but they are not. The candle in the lantern lights and so does the pink (not sure what it is called), but it is beautiful.

Christmas decorating in my home

This is my snowman tree in the living room.

The pictures are in my kitchen. I decorate with all gingerbread men. The green box they are in I repurposed. It was brown.

I bought this little chest at a antique auction.

Another thing I repurposed, and I decorate it with more gingerbread men and greens.

This is my enamel biggin coffee pot.

I bought this old sieve at a yard sale, and fill it with greens, orange slices and apple slices, a cinnamon stick gingerbread men and a candle.

This is the inside of my chicken crate. It has lights, a tree and two gingerbread people.

Some of my Santas. The picture I made.

Love him, I bought him after Christmas last year. It is a candy holder.

Other santas. The small red one is also a candy dish.

Primitive shelf with primitives.

I just got this lantern this year. The candle in it lights.

A shabby chic vignette in my bedroom,

Another shabby vignette in my bedroom.

And of course my baby, Sammy, I can't forget him. He is the love of my life. These are some of my decorating pictures, hope you enjoyed them. Till next time.
