Altered Clip Board

I picked this clip board up at a yard sale for .25 cents, brought it home and started to alter it. I added a printable that I got off of pinterest of roses and words in the back ground, I added lace, flowers, feathers, keys and buttons. I love doing this kind of crafts Hope you enjoyed the blog.

Altered Bottles

I am starting to make holiday items for up coming craft shows, and also for on my Etsy board. I altered this green bottle with different halloween paper, added cheese cloth, glitter, spider, skeleton head and some old jewels.

Picture of a different side.

Another side.

And another side.

And this is the top.

Tussie Mussie/ Victorian Cones

I covered this cone in music paper material. I added lace, pearls, flowers and a musical note pin.

This is a close up of what is in the top of the cone.

This is one  I really like. I like the vintage look of it. I wrapped the cone in a light colored, it looks like burlap, but it is a closer weave. I added a french script paper and then I added a old picture, which I burnt the edges of. Added lace, pearls, a broach, buttons, key and flowers.

A close up of the inside of the cone.

The picture I added to the cone, which I burnt the edges.

Tussie Mussie

I just finished this American cone. I will be putting it on my Etsy board.

A close up of the top.

Altered Bottle

This is my newest altered bottle. It is on my Etsy board. The bottle is old and I spray painted it to look like mercury glass. It has a lot of different embellishments on it. I thought it turned out good.

My Gardens

A bumblebee on my milk weed. I have lots of this growing for the Monarch butterfly.

I am so pleased with all the colors my hydrangea bush has this year.

T

This is a picture of my purple clematis climbing up the front of my porch. I'm not sure how I got this off center. But I did.

I picked a bunch of my hydrangea's from the garden. I also did the vase.

This is a updated picture of my one vignette by my shed. I can't believe how it grew. But we have been having a lot of rain and hot weather.

A picture of my garden taken from the street. The wheelbarrow is doing great also. In front of it is my bee balm.

I have three birdbaths in the gardens for the birds, but in this one I have vintage rose petunias, planted.

I just love hollyhock's, and this one is beautiful. So this is an updated  post of my gardens. As you can tell, I love gardening. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Baby Birds

A Robin built a nest in my firethorn bush, right out side my living room window. So I had a birds eye view of her building the nest, laying the eggs and hatching the babies and feeding them until they left the nest. This is when they first hatched.

A few days later.

The day before they left the nest. They left before they should have.

This was from a different nest, but it followed me every where I went. So I got my camera and told it to pose, and it looked right at me. It was so cute.
