Christmas 2015

I fill this cabinet with small Santas and other things.

The green santa is a candy container, the pink tree I dyed and put balls on it and the sleigh I got at a yard sale, I painted it white and put glitter on it. I like this display.

Another santa display. He is with a vintage tree.

The Santa light was on my tree growing up, and I was lucky enough to get it. I also have the box it goes in.

This is in the window. I always like this. and it looks nice from the street .

This shelf is in the bathroom. I always do it in Santas and this year I added some of the bottle brush trees that I bleached and glittered. And of course Elvis has the top shelf.

In front of the bathroom mirror at the sink.

Now for the Gingerbread kitchen. This is on my vintage green scales.

The spice box that I altered a few years ago.

Another spice box with a grater, decorated with greens and a gingerbread man and one of my pepper mills.

This is the exhaust hood over the stove.

Gingerbread couple sitting on top of the wicker lamp, with greens.

Another vintage green scale with the top filled with cookie cutters, greens. orange slices and a gingerbread man.

An old sieve with greens berries, oranges, cinnamon sticks and a gingerbread man. This and the scale is on top of my chicken crate.

Christmas 2015

Some of my snowmen in the dry sink.

I got these snowmen and lady's at a yard sale, they are with the antique doll buggy. I think they make a nice display.

A display with a vintage tree and an enamelware tray, and I made the snowman head.

My living room is more shabby chic, but I do have on part that is primitive, because I do like that also.

The snowman tree in the living room.

Snowman in the tree.

A little vignette on a stand. I made the snow lady, altered the baby shoes and the pink watering can.

The antique birdcage is decorated in doves, greens and poinsettias.

Putz houses on the bar. This is the first part.

And this is the next part.

Shabby chic Witches hat

I altered this witches hat to where to the Bethel show on Oct. 3rd. I will be going as a shabby chic whitch. I covered it in muslin first.

Then I covered it in this beautiful lace. Then started to embellish it.

This is the front of the hat. I got this very pretty lace and pearls off of a top.

This is on the one side of the hat. Lace flowers, clock, pearls, feathers and a brooch.

On the other side, a rhinestone pin, flower and some buttons.

A grouping of a flower and some buttons.

A picture of the finished hat. The trim I got at hobby lobby, it is very pretty.

This is a better picture of the trim, and it has pearls also on it. So that is my shabby chic hat. My outfit will be this color with lots of lace trim. I will be posting pictures of the whole outfit and show after the 3rd of Oct. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Altered projects

I have been busy making things for the "Witches of Bethel" Antique & Artisan Sale, Oct. 3rd. It is a great show. These are two of my waterless snow globes.

A Halloween cloche I made.

A altered box I did. I painted the box black, and decorated the top with a skeleton head and a top hat, a hand, and a rat and some other embellishments.

The inside top of the lid.

And this is on the bottom of the inside. Very spooky.

Altered things I made

This is a clip board I altered. I am getting ready for the Witches of  Bethel  Antique & Artisan Sale, Oct. 3rd. in Bethel, Pa. It is a great show.

I also did two boxes with seashells on the top. This is the first one I did.

And this is the second one I did.

I had this old book and did a old shoe, a bear, a tree and some other embellishments on it.

I made these snowmen and snow women. After I decorated them I covered them in mica.

This is a close up of the one pair.

This is a Halloween cloche I did. I think it turned out well.

This book is like the Christmas book, but it is a Halloween spooky book

More garden pictures of 2015

I got this chair from the trash. It was ugly brown. I painted it white and distressed it. It is ni my flower garden, with flowers on the seat and a birdhouse. In front of it is one of my watering cans.

This is a vignette beside my shed.

Here are the baby robins. Three hatched Memorial Day and one hatched  the next day.

My baby chickadee's left on Memorial Day. She had three babies. They are so precious.

This is the second one to leave and it sit in the garden for a little.
