Victorian Cones/Tussis Mussie

This is a cone I made for someone that likes pig's.

My first Easter cone I made. I covered it in lavender lace. And added some lavender colored flowers to it.

Bird watching

Last spring, I put some birdseed on the ground for the birds, and who should arrive but a Robin. I was always told they don't eat birdseed, well it was eating it.

Then what do you know, but the squirrel shows up and him and the Robin ate together. So cute.

One day I was sitting on the porch, and I thought I was seeing things, there were a flock of Rose breasted Grosbeak's at my feeder. They stayed around for a few days, then they left, but it was nice having them for awhile.

WE had an owl come into our yard last summer. It was a great horned owl. It was beautiful. Then we found out it was poisoned, and it died. We called the vet, and they came up and got it, but it was too far gone. So sad, but at least I got this picture of it.

Altered

This is a candle holder I got at the thrift shop in Lititz. It was a ugly dark green. I painted it white and distressed it, then put on music paper, lace, some braid and pink flowers.

Repurposed

I bought this at the thrift shop in Lititz. Thought it was cute, and I wanted to redo it.

And here is the finished product. Right now I have some glass bottles in it, not sure what I will use it for. I painted it with chalk paint, then distressed it. And of course added a doily.

I wish this picture was better. This is my first cuff bracelet I made. I made it from a tape roll, which is pictured there. I thought it turned out pretty good, for the first one.

I can't take credit for this piece. But I have been collecting pieces to make some. When I saw it in the antique market, I just knew I had to have it.

Altered things

This is a box I altered. This is the top, I embellished it with lace, feathers, flowers. keys. bird nest, a watch face and some other things.

This is the inside of the box. The paper in the box, is wallpaper, that I had my bedroom in my condo papered with.

This is a can I altered, but the picture is not very good. I did it in the brown colors.

I love this little watering can I did. I painted it and crackled it then painted it in antique white and added the flowers from wrapping paper.and put braiding around it.
