Things I have been making

This is a bracelet I did.

I always wanted to make a shadow box like this. I added scrapbook paper to the back and printed a picture from the computer and added. I also stained the box, walnut. Added that beautiful lace and the antique doll that I got at an auction. The baby shoe filled with a tiny teddy bear and a lace doily, pearls and a clock face.

This is the top of the box.

Close up of the antique doll.

Close up of the baby shoe.

This is a spool I did, I added feathers to the hat and embellished it with lace and flowers.

This is a close up of the bottom.

I had these boxes that someone gave me, they were very country. So I papered them with wallpaper I had left over from my bedroom. Added lace and lace doily's and buttons and a flower.

This is more of the boxes. I had six of them.

And some more. They are very victorian.

Altered things I made

These are the latest baby shoes I altered. I added lace and pearls and a picture in each one that I printed  off the computer. My boss at work, got me these shoes at a thrift store. They aren't what I wanted, but I did them.

I bought this handbag at a thrift shop. It was all white, and I started adding doily's to it, and also different kind of laces, pearls and rhinestones and some white roses. This is the one side of it. The next picture is of the other side.

The other side.

Altered baby shoes

I got these baby shoes at a yard sale, and decided to alter them. I added lace vintage jewelry and a bottle brush tree, which I bleached and added snow and mica flakes. I do like how they turned out.

This is them from a different view (back).

Decorating with Santas

This is a scene in the bathroom.

Another Santa in the bathroom. He is one of my favorites.

This is like a shadow box shelf. It has different scenes in each. And of course the top shelf if all Elvis.

The birdhouse even gets decorated.

This is a vintage cabinet, which I decorate with Santas. I open the doors on it so you can see the things better. These pictures are now in my front room.

Santa's on a wooden tray with greens. The Santa in the middle is a candy container. The pink tree I bleached to that color, not sure how, but I like how it turned out.

This is the only red Santa I have. I like how he has the toys.

Another Santa with a sled and trees.

A Santa with a vintage tree and some greens.

This Santa was on my tree when I was a little girl. I was lucky enough to get it. And I also have the box for it.

This half window is above the big window in the front room. This year I put one Santa and a reindeer with some greens and lights in it, and it is very pretty.

Snowman decorations 2014

This is the vintage small tree in the living room.

One of the birdcages decorated, also snowmen on the ladder.

I fill a bowl with greens and balls.

A vignette of a snowlady that I made and also the shabby watering can I did. And the beautiful decoration in the back ground. It lights.

The antique birdcage all decorated.

Family of snow people.

Snowmen on a sled and snowmen making a snowman. Cute.

This is the primitive vignette. Most of my room is shabby, but I still like this.

This is priceless to me, it was on my father's Christmas yard when he was a little boy. The log house, the old pump and the animals are over 100 years old.

This is under the dry sink. The snowman head is in the birdcage.

This is my snowman tree, wish the picture was better.

He is in the tree.

the owl is also in the tree.

And this is the tree topper. I got her at a thrift shop. She is made out of spun cotton.

This is on my bar this year. I did the putz houses.

This is still part of the scene.

Gingerbread kitchen 2014

The following pictures are of my kitchen and eating area, decorated with Gingerbread for Christmas. This first is a vignette on my vintage green scales. You will also see lots of lace. I love to decorate with it.

Gingerbread around the biggin coffee pot. I also collect enamelware.

This is the spice box that I repurposed. I pull out some of the drawers and put things in them.

This is on top of another spice cabinet.

On my window sill, above the kitchen sink.

This basket is on the floor under my kitchen island, filled with goodies.

Greens, gingerbread, dried apple slices, and orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and berries fill this enamel roaster.

On top of the chicken crate, with the old scales.

One of my shelves with all kind of goodies.

Another shelf with more goodies.

Above the cabinets in my kitchen.

Also above the cabinets.

Long basket with gingerbread and greens.
