In my garden

A sign in one of my container's.

I put these oranges out for the Baltimore Oriole's.

This is the child's bench in the garden. I took the picture from the patio.

These Lily's went crazy this year. Really beautiful.

Fern w/ watering can on the patio.

Another fern on the patio w/ a metal sheep.

I love how the clematis is climbing on the old chair in the garden.

In my garden

This is a herb flower pot on my patio With a trellis behind it and a birdhouse. My wicker furniture is in the background.

My blue things in a part of the garden.

The birdbath, with a solar light in it.

One of my birdhouses on the pink ladder, with a lantern.

Another birdhouse sitting on a child's bench.

I painted this bicycle pink, so it would show up in the garden.

The wheelbarrow is doing great, it also has a solar light in it. You can see chicken wire everywhere, but if I didn't have it around my flowers, I wouldn't have any, because of all the rabbits.

A close up of the bunny in the wheelbarrow with the flowers.

This bird house is also in the wheelbarrow.

Bought this watering can at a yard sale and planted black eyed susan's.

Birdhouse on the pink ladder.

Chicken feeder with flowers in.

This is back on my bank. When my birdhouses have seen better days, I move them back there.

One of my little garden vignette's.

This year I planted double impatiens in the wagon.

This is a sign I got at a yard sale. I really think it looks good in the garden.

On my patio. I fixed this little table with a lace table cloths, a watering can that I planted with flowers, and a vase with some of my flowers from the garden.

I planted a fern in the birdcage.

And of course this is my Sammy, he is with me all the time. Everywhere I go, my boy goes.

Antique Market Open House

This past week end was the Antique Market's open house. So Sammy and I went up to my Mom's place and we stay over night. They have free wine and cheese, and the vendor's have specials, so this is two of the things I bought, the chicken watering or feeders, not sure which, but I like them.

And I bought this green vintage scale. I love anything in this green color.

And I bought this green watering can. I think I am going to paint it another color, not sure yet. They had a big birdcage, that I wanted for in my garden, but had no way of getting it home, the stand was 6ft high and the cage was BIG. I drive a BMW Z3, so you know I can't haul a lot. That made me sick, I could just see that in my garden with flowers planted in it. Oh, well that's life.

Repurposed

I bought this frame at goodwill. It was black and I painted it antique white and distressed it. The picture is of my great grandmother and great grandfather and my grandmother as a baby. I also added lace and flowers at the base.

Tussie Mussie/ Victorian Cones

These are some cones I made for my family for Easter. I will fill them with Wilbur buds.

Repurposed

I bought this old tool box at a yard sale, and painted it a pretty green color and antiqued it. I have vintage dishes in it and of course a doily. At Christmas I add greens and gingerbread men.

I bought these dishes and the glass candle holder at yard sales and thrift shop's. Then I glued them together, to make a tiered serving dish. I use it at parties.

Here again I bought all these pieces at yard sales and thrift shop's and this is what I came up with. It is in my garden. I either put birdseed in the dish on top or a candle.

Altered bird house, bottle, star

This is my shabby chic bottle I did. The flowers are from a ribbon I bought with them on. I thought it was beautiful. I have lots of lace on it and pearls, flowers and seam binding for the bow. And a picture of a victorian lady.

This is the back of the bottle. I wanted to show you this beautiful lace, I bought it at a yard sale. I have pearls inside the bottle.

I redid this bird house. I made it more shabby, it was very country before I altered it.

I papered the star in french script paper, added lace trim, pearls, buttons and a picture of the Eiffel Tower.
