Gingerbread kitchen 2014

The following pictures are of my kitchen and eating area, decorated with Gingerbread for Christmas. This first is a vignette on my vintage green scales. You will also see lots of lace. I love to decorate with it.

Gingerbread around the biggin coffee pot. I also collect enamelware.

This is the spice box that I repurposed. I pull out some of the drawers and put things in them.

This is on top of another spice cabinet.

On my window sill, above the kitchen sink.

This basket is on the floor under my kitchen island, filled with goodies.

Greens, gingerbread, dried apple slices, and orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and berries fill this enamel roaster.

On top of the chicken crate, with the old scales.

One of my shelves with all kind of goodies.

Another shelf with more goodies.

Above the cabinets in my kitchen.

Also above the cabinets.

Long basket with gingerbread and greens.

Mica Snowmen

This was my first attempt at making the mica snowmen. I guess I did good, because they all sold. I did like them and I love using the mica.

Repurposed Ice Skates

My neighbor gave these to me. I added lace around the top and then put fur on top of that, with some lace coming out the top, then I put mica all over them. They turned out beautiful. I wish I would have kept them, but I sold them at the craft show. I do have a pair I did last year, they have glitter and lace on them.

Snowmen and snowmen hats

On this hat I did a burlap flower and other embellishments. I am getting ready for another show, after Thanksgiving on the Sat. after black Friday. The show I did in Oct. was wonderful.

I printed this picture off of the computer. I thought it was so cute, and added a pink poinsettia and some balls.

Another hat with the music paper ribbon, some roses that I glittered.

These snowmen are sold. I have some other ones made for the show.

Fall decorating

The wheelbarrow in my garden, with mum, pumpkins, pepper plant and birdhouses and old shovel, that someone gave me at work.

This is on my wicker table on the porch.

A vignette on my porch.

I just stuck some fall flowers in one of my old watering cans.

This is in my living room. Added some bittersweet and pumpkins. Most of my decorating is done outside for fall. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Repurposed

My neighbor was throwing out her old grill, so I went over and got it. I knew what I was going to do with it. I painted it apple green, put this big mum in it and a pumpkin underneath with a doily on top. And some pepper plants around it.
