Antique Market Open House

This past week end was the Antique Market's open house. So Sammy and I went up to my Mom's place and we stay over night. They have free wine and cheese, and the vendor's have specials, so this is two of the things I bought, the chicken watering or feeders, not sure which, but I like them.

And I bought this green vintage scale. I love anything in this green color.

And I bought this green watering can. I think I am going to paint it another color, not sure yet. They had a big birdcage, that I wanted for in my garden, but had no way of getting it home, the stand was 6ft high and the cage was BIG. I drive a BMW Z3, so you know I can't haul a lot. That made me sick, I could just see that in my garden with flowers planted in it. Oh, well that's life.

I bought this frame at goodwill. It was black and I painted it antique white and distressed it. The picture is of my great grandmother and great grandfather and my grandmother as a baby. I also added lace and flowers at the base.

Tussie Mussie/ Victorian Cones

These are some cones I made for my family for Easter. I will fill them with Wilbur buds.

Repurposed

I bought this old tool box at a yard sale, and painted it a pretty green color and antiqued it. I have vintage dishes in it and of course a doily. At Christmas I add greens and gingerbread men.

I bought these dishes and the glass candle holder at yard sales and thrift shop's. Then I glued them together, to make a tiered serving dish. I use it at parties.

Here again I bought all these pieces at yard sales and thrift shop's and this is what I came up with. It is in my garden. I either put birdseed in the dish on top or a candle.
